The Pill-Plus™ – Oral
The Pill-Plus™ is an oral contraceptive currently in development. The Pill-Plus™ is a triple-hormone formulation, which adds an androgen, similar to testosterone, to the typical contraceptive combination of estrogen and progestin.

This triple-hormone formulation was developed in order to increase the sex drive of contraceptive users, which is usually diminished with the typical estrogen-progestin combination.

The Pill-Plus™ is being developed in conjunction with Pantarhei Bioscience B.V., a Netherlands-based pharmaceutical company.

The Pill-Plus™ – Transdermal
The Pill-Plus™ is being developed as a once-daily transdermal contraceptive.

Due to the addition of testosterone to the usual contraception combination of estrogen and progestin, the decreased sex drive experienced by many contraceptive users should be reversed.
